I am a postdoctoral research associate in the Evolutionary Ecology group of ETH Zürich, hosted by Eawag in Dübendorf and headed by Christoph Vorburger. We study symbiont-mediated coevolution, focussing on black bean aphids (Aphis fabae), their parasitoid wasps (Lysiphlebus fabarum) and their bacterial endosymbionts, especially Hamiltonella defensa. I am responsible for mathematical and computational modelling of their ecology and evolution.

I am looking for a job in theoretical/computational/systems biology. An evolutionary or ecological slant is required. I am available from November 2012. Have a look at my cv and a list of papers. References available on request.
